As noted by the kind gentleman who posted these pics, I obviously have end caps for the amps I need to put back on. The deck is a pioneer, nice, but too many buttons and features you'll likely never use. MB Quart Components in the Front Doors, and 10" JBL sub between the seats.

Those "old school" RF amps smoke anything JL has ever built...I'd have to agree on the Alpine take...

Looks pretty cool! I just hope he didn't drill into the gas tank when the amps were mounted on that back wall. I do know of a couple of instances of this happening in an RT/10 installation.

That's the truth. I still run these amps in my car. In fact, my brother's '95 Camaro is an Alpine sponsored vehicle and he still runs these "old school" Rockford amps.

Any pics of the sub setup without a cover?

To answer a few questions:

1. The bass sounds good. It's tight and hits hard and sounds REAL, not like some big, boomy rubber drum. The one tough thing is if you get a big differential in amount of bass from one song to the next. Does ANY manufacturer make a head unit with just simple BASS/TREBLE dials anymore so you can just make a quick adjustment if you're getting distortion?

2. I used the punch amps simply because I had them laying around, why spend another 1000-1500 bucks for new ones?

3. I have no idea what an Alpine DVA screen is. But if you can adjust the BASS and stuff without having to push 20 buttons and enter 10 different menus, I'd be interested in hearing about it.

4. I have not noticed any gas leaks.

5. No pictures with the cover off the sub. Therte is a frame built underneath and the sub fires at about a 45 degree angle down and towards the back of the car.

I had the same amps and fosgate subs to boot. The car was "Hella Loud" as we called it back in da day. Was in my brand new (yes it was new then) 1990 Hyundai Excel. I've come a ways since then.
