I seem to have smear marks on the inside if my gauges, the four smaller ones, anyone have any idea? They look to be factory sealed. Puzzling.
Oh, another stupid question, what’s the second switch above the shifter for?
THANKS!

If your marks are like mine they are in the plastic bezel material. I believe they are mold flow (in the plastic grain structure) marks and not smears. Other than the slight appearance effect they have not bothered me. I do not believe there is much you can do about it either to improve the appearance.

I had two gauges that were discolored(had a yellow tint). I replaced them through Chuck Tator(Viper Wizard).

If you have a GTS the "switch" above the rear defroster switch is the lighted indicator to show the rear defrost is on; it's not a switch. If you've got an RT/10 or you're talking about something else then I don't know. Hope this helps?

JPL-if you're referring to a Gen I, the second switch above the shifter does nothing. I beleive it's for another country.
