Well, debating taking a contract in London... not sure I can live without my Viper... even less sure I can trust anyone to store it for me while I'm over there.

To those of you who have shipped Vipers (Gen II) from the States, would it be a big pain to ship mine over with the expectation I'd ship it back to California in a year or two... or three? I'm guessing it would be a huge waste of time and money, just need some confirmation :)

there are plenty of challenges owning a viper in central London unless your a multi millionaire, there are hardly any houses with garages so cars are left on the road, parking is a nightmare and expensive, soon the $16 fee to drive in the city will be raised to $50 per day, insurance will be megga espicially for a forgeiner with no driving history in the UK, also the congestion means it isnt going be fun during the day and peak times remember reading the average speed is about 10mph, then there's the fuel costs at $2 per liter...

Yeah, some pretty good points. I wouldn't quite be in central london... it's real close to the london bridge. It has a parking space too, but wow, almost $8 a gallon is enough reason to leave it at home.

You will enjoy every mile even more - at $7-8 a gallon! :drive:

Think about going to Germany next year. Autobahn. Hockenheimring. Nürburgring....the ALPs, Italy, ...:D

london bridge is pretty much a place to avoid in a car!
The only time i venture into London is for business, not a place id go to by choice but im always happy to escape from :)

I used to live in London for 4 years, next to Tower of London, I moved out just when they introduced the congestion charge. Before that I didn't mind the traffic and at night times I actually enjoyed taking a little spin around the town. Only came across very few Vipers during my stay.
