tossing around the idea of throwing a ~200 shot on my 98 GTS. I dont really want to invest all that money into a turbo/blower setup yet since I mostly drive like a grandma 99% of the time...I just want to have the power there even though i will hardly ever use it. So whats the general consensus on the best nitrous kit you can get?

is it better to get a system that springs into the intake tube, or with plates behind the throttle body?

Is it better to get a dry or wet?

What accesories are a MUST to get other than the essentials(remote opener, purge, bottle heater)

search !!!

WET ONLY
intake spray
no opener
purge maybe
BOTTLE HEATERS FOR SURE
i'm searching a buttload right now.

any reason why its preferred to spray in the intake tube vs. the throttle body plate?

what about other stuff like window switches and tuning products?

im a big fan of a vec2 for controlling window, RPM and WOT switch. and you can really fine tune it then too.

NX and buy the stuff from nitro daves

do a search on this site for a LOT of info
X2 for sure. Make sure and get the bottle warmer, window switch, Gauge, and extra jets for tuning. Just talk to Dave with what you are doing and he will hook you up. Also he sells a plate for the Gen2. You will get better spray going through the plate. Ask him about it. You are lucky because you have forged internals so a 200 shot will be no problem for you. You want to make sure the tune is good to go though last thing you want is to go lean, then it doesn't matter if you do have forged internals, it will go BOOM. Good luck and let us know what you end up doing. I love my nitrous :drive:

Trust me just talk to Dave, he is the most knowledgeable in the subject matter and he will explain why its better to spray through a plate.

I added a Hobbs pressure switch so that the Nitrous System will not engage unless there is a minimium of fuel pressure. In case of fuel pressure loss the system will shut down instead of going lean and burning down your engine.
