I just discovered a pinhole in the top. You can barely see light through it,but it is a very tiny hole. Anyone have any suggestions on the proper fix?

Short of replacement of the top, the easiest quick fix that I know of is put a small drop of Black RTV Silicone on the inside of the top over the hole.

I have to credit this one to a friend of mine (Bill) who is a rag top fanatic who seems to find any way to entend the life of the top on his car.

Another thing, the holes in the top are probably from the rear latches rubbing on it. I usually cover the latches with duct tape to help keep them from rubbing through (fabric wears faster than steel). Folding it up properly helps too.

Thanks Rich. Sounds like a plan. Our top is very seldom disassembled. We don't use it too much. Had to fold it up quickly a few weeks ago and put it in the trunk. I covered the rear latches with their little covers, but discovered one had come off when I took it out to put back together again. Good advice about making sure they're covered well and the top folded correctly.

I put two black patches on the inside, the type that you apply with a hot iron. They are barely noticeable. Now I have double thickness to protect against rubbing when the top is folded.

That's what we used to do on our E-Types! You don't even need an iron-on fabric. Just get some sheet vinyl (cheap - JC Whitney) and glue to the interior of the top.
