Sold \'00 ACR for $58K...maybe selling market not so bad

I helped a friend sell his '00 ACR today, steel gray, silver stripes, 15K miles. Despite the doom & gloom I've seen regarding Gen II prices, both seller & buyer are very happy with the price.

Sure beats Ebay.

The good sales are still out their to be had. eBay is not a good place to judge a market on any car, but with a reliable sell, a good place to buy. It's really hard to fork out Viper-type money to something you haven't seen in person (most of the time). I imagine that most people would get near what they want on their cars (nothing crazy) if they weren't in such a hurry, like most cars put on eBay for a quick sale.

Ebay can be good on new cars. Bought my '02 GTS for $65k. Had 20 miles on odometer. Came with 7/70 powertrain warranty plus standard bumper to bumper. Very happy with my Ebay purchase!

I would like to agree with dwhitt. I bought my brand new 2001 RT/10 in Sapphire Blue on eBay with 500 Miles and it was never titled. Dealer had a hard time selling it and it was driven back and forth from his two dealers that were 20 miles away. Got the car for $65K with the Corsa Exhaust, Tinted Windows, and K40 radar. I love my purchase and looking back it was a great one.
