Buyer flew in today from Seattle, Washington with deposit and signed bill of sale. Is arranging for final payment end of month prior to shipping of car. SRT Coupe is next!

ps..whats the best and quickest way for final payment to me..Bank transfer? I want to protect myself before car ships. How long must I wait for funds to completely clear and be sure that buyer cant reverse funds. Not that there's a problem but want to be safe than sorry..

congrats. have the buyer bank wire the funds direct to your account.it only takes a few hours to clear. but can take longer depending on the wire.no way to revers once funds hit your account anyway, thats the best way. dont take a cashiers check. to many fakes.

Congrats on the sale. As for the best idea for bank funds, I would sa Bank Transfer. No recourse after funds are sent.

Ive done a number of bank transfers this year and they are instant. Also and most importantly once the bank sends the money they can not get it back. I know this because i was wired 8600.00 extra dollars in a dispursement and i had to wire them back the money myself. GL Eagle

Set up a different account just for this payment. It's not a good idea to give a stranger your account & routing # of the main checking account you use on a daily basis.

Transfers are the best.. No reversal.. Also when wire hits your account, the bank will give u a routing number. Use that number to place on your bill of sale aka banking transaction This can be done after car is shipped. Just for your records and with that u have a super solid deal.
