I was told by JB that my wires need to be replaced along with my plugs. 16000 miles on my 04. I talked to a few people and they said no way is that needed. The wires should be good for at least 36k any input>>>>>

I just received mine last week... Will be putting them on in the next couple of weeks...
They look 10 times better than the stock ones......

The name says it all ... Quality Wires...

Dimitrios... Did you go with the Gen2 looms with your wires?

Also nice color... I have the same.... They are definitely the fastest... ;)

Did you change the wires yourself???

Can I just take off the wipers and the cowl and route the wires that way?
Instead of taking the intake manifold off???

I modified my gen III looms..didn't work out so well for me. The Gen II loms require no modifications.

2004 wires are ready for replacement - It's not particularly just mileage related but also heat will have a negative impact on them and cause deterioration over a period of time.
Ignition wires should be on the top of your maintenance list .

Hope this helps ...

Changed my wires and plugs. First of all the gaps were all wrong on the plugs. The car prior to the change was sluggish and hesitating on acceleration. Once changed night and day difference. The car is crisp and MUCH more responsive on acceleration. MSD wires and stock plugs were intalled.

So are the MSD Wires much better than stock. I know i need to run a colder plug, but with a colder plug and the MSD wires, will I notice a difference? Thanks ahead of time

This has probably been asked before, but since you are here, what are the best wires and plugs to run with a 200 shot of nitrous?? Thanks

I just did quality wires and stock plugs on my 04 with 16,000 miles and noticed a difference right away. The car even sounded different. At the time i also changed all fluids and gas filter.

quality wires in red - they are pretty nice.

I didn't notice any difference other than the look....I removed the stock ones becuase I pulled the end off one of the wires during a plug change.

DC performance is running stock wires on their 9 sec paxton car...nothing wrong with stock either.

My '04 has 27000 miles and there is no possible reason to change them. If they required frequent periodic replacement they would have to be in the maintenance schedule (by federal law), otherwise they would be required to be maintained under the emissions warranty.

Why would you expect a Viper's plug wires to be such low quality as to require frequent replacement? Plug wires typically last a minimum of 5 years, more typically 10 years.

My '97 Neon still has its original wires and they don't need replacing yet.
