Well, immoral and illegal, anyway.

In any event, the buyer must be a brave soul. Even doing a slipshod job of repairing the car may cost much more than the price of a new one. Especially when the starting point is the $30k cost of the wreck.

If you enlarge the pic shot straight from the rear, you can see the truck lid is askew. This looks to me like that the really hard hit on the left front twisted the whole frame. "Some frame work" Uhm hum, some frame work. Like a whole new frame! Or twist the old one back straight, and shim everything that doesn't fit anymore? New air bags I hear are very expensive, as well as lots of brackets, suspension pieces, hub, brake caliper, rotor, facsia, etc etc. Whatever the case, I think its worth about $20,000.

Couldn't you make some money by piecing the parts out? How much does an engine,transmission, and rearend go for separately?

Interior looks good, as do the back wheels and tires.

Then you can start on the smaller parts, lights etc...

I wouldn't fix and drive this car at all. It's not worth it with damage like that. The resale value would be worthless to anyone who knew the extent of the damage sustained. Good for parts only.
