SnakeBitten did it in his RT/10. Had to do some mods to the seat and bracket, said it was a pain in the *** but worth it!

i know that the company (northwind I think)
that makes the seat lowering device was working on the bracketry needed to let gen3 seats
fit in the Gen 2.
might want to contact them first, because if they do have the proper conversion kit
it would make the swap easy.
but yes they are $$$$$$$!

post pics if you do them.

how much $$$$$ are we talking...I have an extra gen II seat and a Viper office chair so sometimes I spend stupid money on things I don't need anyway.

I was also think about this, somebody told me it would be a pain in the **** to fit. So would it be worth it to pony up the money for the SRT-10 seats which I thought were very comfortable and supportive, or might as well pick up a nice set of Sparco's etc?

Also, what is the difference between the SRT-4 seats and SRT-10 seats? The Neon guys and Magazines keep syaing their exactly the same as the Viper seats, but like Tony said, I've seen people offer the SRT-4 seats for around $700 also when I sure as hell know the Viper seats are not that cheap?

I just nailed a new set of these SRT seats on E-bay. Is the leather color match a good one with a 97 GTS? :p :usa:

Is there a company making the conversion kit for this swap? I just received my SRT 10 seats and like them a bunch over the Gen II seats. Much more support. :2tu: :usa:
