I keep hearing about the GTS discounts, what about the regular SRT Viper discounts?

The GTS is getting big discounts because the options have 100% margins on invoice. The base cars don't have as much fat packed into the price. You could probably get 10% off if you tried.

I was offered 10% off a 13 SRT 2 mo ago that is still there. They have now had it going on 5 months. I offered them 27% off MSRP. I guess we will see how long they want to pay floor plan interest. I am not sure I would still be willing to go with that offer now.

The current prices are incredible! You can buy a GTS with Laguna interior, optional color, 18 speaker option, for 99K. Granted I've only seen a couple, but I've also seen a new Ong T.A. advertised at $113.

I realize the person who wants the SRT or the TA probably aren't interested in the cushy GTS (like I am:D). I see a lot of SRT's at 96K, but I imagine there is not a lot of margin there. I don't really know, since I'm learning about the Viper. My interested was always there in the background, but now with these prices for GTS, my interest has magnified.

The new Corvette C7 Z06 (with optional performance data recorders, on all 2015's) soon to be released will probably keep Viper prices down, at least on the highly optioned 13's, through the spring.

I think the dealers still holding on to MSRP or more are going to be holding on to a lot of expensive inventory. Not trying to be an expert here, just my observations & opinions. I'm not a lover of the C7 styling and therefore I'm looking into buy a Viper, and I'm negotiating right now with a couple of dealers.

You are correct. With the market the way it is, I have the leverage to buy on my terms or not at all. I just bought an item Christmas Eve that I had made an offer on 2 weeks earlier and the realtor laughed in my agents face. Guess who got the last laugh.

I've love to see that, everyone that has claimed they've seen this - it turns out to be an eBay auction with a reserve.

I've been emailing the sales man on these cars, so it's not a Flea Bay deal. I will gladly pm you if you're interested.:eater:

Cash is King...It is about time the greedy car dealers(not all) know who is the boss....Go as low as they will go and then say I want another 2 Grand off or I am leaving, they will be pissed, but will do it.Esp. on cars over 100,000.00 / 200,000.00 4000.00 off...

I don't know how they discount as much as 25% on an highly optioned GTS, it has to be a losing deal. Meanwhile I've seen GTS' move that were at MSRP, apparently bought by some low information buyer or someone who has so much cash they don't care to shop around.

Another ploy I'm seeing is the dealer marking up the price above MSRP, say 10 to 20 grand and then when that fails, knock 10 grand off the car and claim it is a 20-30k reduction. There are still several GTS Vipers listed in the 149-174k range, which to my thinking will probably take the dealers a year to figure out why no one is biting (lol).

Another 2013 GTS just sold for sub $100K. GTS Blue with $133k sticker. Looks like GTSs in the $100k range may soon be the norm.

That car went quick, saw it posted in the morning and it was already gone when I checked again later in the afternoon.

Are there any dealers offering invoice pricing on ordered SRT's. I know exactly what I want & I want it for invoice or a little over.

Very hard to find as dealer is only profiting on the holdback at that point. Also dealer takes on risk that a custom ordered car gets cancelled once delivered to dealer or prior, which means the dealer now has to take custom car into inventory and have carrying costs.

Very interesting. Just noticed the post from a dealer selling his inventory at invoice. Great for people who waited.

There's two Viper GTS' in the central coast (Cali) for 34k (black)-35K (Gunmetal) off respectively. Both have the Laguna pkg., 18spk upgrade, & Venom wheels. You pick at 99K, still available as of 5 minutes ago!
