I was all set to attend next Friday, but just got this email....

Dear SRT Track Experience Participant:

As you are probably aware, Chrysler Corporation has recently filed for bankruptcy and is in the process of restructuring their organization. As a result, the Homestead event is being postponed. It is not clear at this time if the event can be rescheduled at a later date, however; there is an event in Daytona later in the year (September 17-September 20) that is available if you are interested.

Anyone who has paid to attend this event (either as a driving guest or non-driving guest) will have their credit card refunded within the next 5 business days. If you are attending the event because you purchased a new SRT vehicle and this experience was included in the cost of your car, you will be free to reschedule for an upcoming event. If you are interested in rescheduling, simply email us with your registration number and identify which future event you would like to attend. It is important to note that at this time, no other events are being postponed.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. Chrysler is working diligently to resolve the issues surrounding this.

Thank you for your loyalty to Chrysler and for your understanding during this reorganization. Should you have any immediate questions/concerns, please email us at [email protected]

Sincerely,

The SRT Team

At first glance it would appear that they may be looking to cancel the events where they were not full? I'm hoping mine isn't rescheduled too.

Sort of *****.

What a shame.... This was a great event... Richard Petty school runs this. But I bet since they will not be reimbursed from dodge on new car purchases. They had to pull the plug..

What a shame.... This entire week has been a terrible ******, to the last year..

I was advised that the event for the 22nd had enough players....so do not believe is was driven by lack of participants, too bad....I will have to try to get up to Daytona....

The bankruptcy proceedings have cut the MARKETING budget by approximately 50% of what Chrysler budgeted/requested. This is not the only item under MARKETING that might touch us directly.....

I'm signed up for November in Las Vegas.

I doubt that will be held. Who knows will happen at that time.

I was just glad they didn't eliminate the local dealer where I have mine serviced.

So if they end up cancelling all of them will there be reimbursement for folks that bought cars and have it as part of the purchase price?
