Stereo for RT/10??? HELP

Just purchased a 99 silver RT/10. Love the car, hate the stereo. Does anyone out there has a system in their RT/10 that actually sounds good??? I need help??? I like crankin the music when accelerating.

It's just like any other car. Crap stock system. Time to upgrade. Head to a local audio stereo shop and they'll hook you up. If you have an RT/10 about the only thing you can't get is a lot of bass. But there are ways around that..
Just get a good quality headunit, amps and speakers. No junk...

I put an alpine head unit in with MB Quart speakers and a McIntosh amp powering the speakers. Sounded pretty good. Next I added high flow cats with Belanger exhaust (side pipes) effectivly drowning out any sound other than the engine. Sounds great. The amp is pretty powerful so I could turn it up enough to hear over the exhaust, but why?
