I just bought one from Jon B at PartsRack and he beat my local dealer on price by close to $100. I modified mine,that's why I wanted to keep a stock one also.

What kind of mods are you doing to the stock air box?

What most probably intend to do is cut out the section that blocks water from getting to the filters.
