Stock or Trick??

Hey gang...I have a tough one I have been going around and around on w/my brother. I just bought my first viper and I'm torn between leaving her bone stock or modding it out. I've heard the arguments for driving it vs. leaving it as a gargage queen but I think this one is more difficult. As time goes on it becomes more and more difficult to find stockers. What you all think about this one?

Hi George,

Some mods are 'no brainers' like smooth tubes (you already have them), seat lowering kit if your tall, short throw shifter. If you don't like the sound of your exhaust thats another pretty easy one. Now if after driving her (yes-all Vipers are female) you want more power :) :) here is where the serious mods happen. So I would recommend driving her for a while and then see what you want her to become ;)

Now how about telling us your first impression of driving your new beast? Is she everything you expected?

Ok... a viper might have the lines of a voluptous women.. even after a wash and wax it might feel as smooth as a prom queens thighs.... But I still think the car is way to bada$$ to be considered a women. :cool:

Oh, you did not buy that car :eek: :eek: :eek: , That was horrible looking. I thought I saved a picture but can't seem to find it. You need to get in contact with Chad at Snakehydes and get it replaced. I'll bet he would even cut you a deal to get that nightmare out of a Viper :crazy: :crazy: :crazy: :crazy:

Did you buy the car as an investment or as a toy? To me, if I want to invest, I will buy real estate or put money in the bank or something like that. Cars are meant to be driven.

If you plan on trying to sell the car for a profit down the road, you may wanna stay stock or close to it (mods can be very expensize and dont offer a great return on investment), but if you bought the car with the intention of driving it and enjoying it, i say mod it. You dont have to go straight for the Roe supercharger, but just mod it in a tasteful (aka not overdone) way. If I see another Viper w/Eclipse taillights (for those who missed that post...God it was awful), i'm gonna cry...and I even own a Eclipse Spyder lol
