Dan,

I just put a 4 wheel set on my Viper and they are day and night from the stock brakes. I have found that they do not lock up like the stock brakes, and cool down a lot faster.

The width of the rotors compared to stock is quite a bit more, and the rear calipers are four piston but proportioned for the balance.

As far a drag racing, the stock are fine, they never heat up enough to fade, but the stock on a road course could be trouble once they get hot.

Give me a shout , also if you have not bought them by VOI, I will take you for a ride, or you can drive to see how they feel..WELL WORTH THE MONEY!

I have the Stoptech big brake kit and am very happy with it. There's no need for a proportioning valve since the system is balanced at the factory.

I originally had the Wilwood setup on the front wheels and was relatively happy with it except I wanted a matching set for the rears. Nobody made a rear setup that worked without some serious cutting. With the Wilwoods on the front and the stocks on the rear, I found that I locked up the rear wheels more easily.

The Stoptechs are definitely the way to go.
