strange sound

I have had a crackling sound out of the passenger door speaker
only when CD's are being played not radio or satalite radio. I replaced the door speaker and it continued, so I replaced the whole stereo head unit and it still does this. Any one experience this issue? 2009 vert.

Well, the only thing left to replace would be the amplifier under the passenger seat. If not that then it's a wiring issue.

First wiring I'd check is inside the boot going to the door.
