Just brought home my new 2002 GTS Race Yellow Viper!! Looking to put on the "Strips"> I have been told to have them painted, from others to have them lazered. What is the best method, any contacts?

I too have some questions. I'm going to go with some vinyl white stripes for now. This way I can see how I like them for awhile, while not putting out alot of money. I wanted to know if I should Zaino the car first, or put the stripes on first. I have a package of Zaino coming from CODY!

Do NOT use Zaino if putting on stripes. I tried to simply put masking tape on over Zaino and it wouldn't stick.

Now I'm really confused! I was told that if your going to do stripes, you HAD to go w/ factory. Specifically because of the laser.


#2 I didn't think yellow was an option for 02??

Yellow with white strips!!!!
I don't think you can buy'em that way.
If you can find someone with a lazer set up that would be the best way to get straight lines. You might want to have the car masked and then inspect it your self before they paint.

Do not Zaino - your stripes will fall off
I made the mistake of doing Zaino before a track event- my very sticky vinyl numbers blew right off the car.
