I've got a '96 GTS, and I was wondering what the limit would be to use the CD player with the key turned down to Accessory before worrying about draining the battery too much to restart the car.
This question came to mind as I was resealing a piece of weather stripping on my door, and I had to have the Key "ON" to move the window up / down, and of course my CD player was on too. If I wanted to park the car, and listen to CD's, is it OK to do so, and for how long???

That's a tough call... who the heck knows.. how loud? That will make a big difference.. My best guess, 6-8 hours... perhaps more..

Maybe this is obvious...but make sure your key is turned to the "accessory" position (top of key turned back towards you) and not the "ignition/fuel pump on" position whenever you do this! As for time, if you're going to listen to the radio in the car for more than a few hours...get a boom box

What Dan is REALLY trying to communicate, is how long can he **** a ** with the love machine playing in the background, and still fire the beast to make his get away?
