DLM superchargers, or any others for that matter. heres my quandry; I use my 1999 viper rt10 as a daily driver (when weather permits in this **** dismal state) and I will not sacrifice daily driving enjoyment and reliability for anything, including horsepower (did I just blasphemy, LOL) so are the supercharger kits able to maintain daily driving reliability or am I stuck with a beast from the east show and track car? Im considering DLM either level 2 or 3

rdustman, I have a DLM Level III supercharger. From time to time I drive mine for weeks straight. The car is JUST as street able as it was almost from stock. That's one of the best things about the supercharger. Although I'm not sure if Doug is going to take on anymore cars for the next couple of months. He has a waiting list for now. But if your willing to wait, he builds one awesome machine!

When I asked Jason Heffner to supercharge my Viper, one of my criterion was that it be highly streetable (i.e., pump gas only) and bulletproof. He's installed hundreds of superchargers on every imaginable car and has great results as far as streetability is concerned. Ask Jamie Furman about his Heffner supercharger installation. He drives it on the street and the strip and puts down some impressive numbers and hasn't had a single problem with belts, plugs, etc. Other than the supercharger, Jamie's Viper is bone stock.

I've got a DLM Level II (maybe 1/2) and it's my daily driver and I don't have any problem with belts or plugs and it's TOTALLY streetable. I think for any matter any supercharged car will be.. That is the great thing about forced induction..
My last DLM car I had s/c for about 2 years and I think I threw 1 belt because of my area was under construction and it wrecked havok on my belt and alt belt, etc. Daily drove that one for about 2 years.
We can't speak for Doug, but I think he's got a waiting list that is kind of....well.... booked.

Hey Gerald,

What kind of numbers were you getting from your Gen I?? Was it a stage I? Just thinking about it and was curious what kind of numbers I might expect on the Gen I engine. Thanks.....Kurt
