Just wanted to say thank you very much to John and Brad in the Fresno, CA Viper Club. They checked out a '99 GTS for me that was for sale there, and I sincerely appreciate it!
Brad said it was in very good mechanical order, and the interior was perfect. Also there were no dents...see related post elsewhere on the forum.
If i can ever return the favor guys, let me know! I've owned many different cars (Mustang, Z28, Supra, Viper, etc), and the Viper community is by far the most closely knit organization with the most friendly members i have seen. You guys kick @$$

Glad to see you got your Viper! If I decide on a used Viper over a new one, I will hope to have some VCA members check it out for me. Someday I hope to be a be a more competent Viper Inspector.

If you do get a used one, take some advice that was given to me a year ago by my friends Henry and Janni Cone...
"You are better off to spend a few thousand dollars more and get a GOOD used Viper that has been checked out than to buy a ragged out Viper just because it is dirt cheap."
They hit the nail on the head there...now that I've owned a good Viper and test driven a ragged-out Viper, the difference between the two is night and day.
