when you buy a vortech kit for a car they come with the mounting bracket like that 1.i had a vortech s trim on my mustang and when i was taking blower off to sell it the bracket was cast and it broke with a little extra force .my mistake.that one looks like aluminum .let me tell anyone considering a vortech,make sure you hear the system before you buy it.its either a love or hate thing.most people that didnt know cars would ask me what was wrong under the hood.lolif you can handle the racket tell them its the alternater going bad.i think they may have a less noisy system now though.it sounds way different than most.
