ive read several older posts on upgrading TB. it seems the generla opinion is that they decrease torque on a stock or fairly stock car.

what is/are the minimum mods required to thereby add TB to attian a gain in performance without losing torque?

Headers, tubes/filters, but most importantly-Rolloer rockers. Do these you'll see a significant increase. Just TB's alone is a waste of money and TQ(you'll lose low end TQ). By the way I have a set of T&D's for sale :D

NEVER!

Unless you are planning on stroker, sc or other forced air induction.

We are running deep into the 9's with stock TB's and stock, unhoned intake manifold.

I think that throttle bodies are the worst mod I ever did to my 96 GTS. I have my old enlarged bodies for sale ...CHEAP.
