Jon,

I just sold my '94 RT/10 and it only took 2 weeks. Basically, I would advise you to price it right and advertise it wide. Although I did spend about $120 in advertising (various newspapers in the southeast) the VCA classifieds was the ad that grabbed the buyers attention. I had a gentleman from Arizona fly to Georgia and purchase the car. Feel free to call me at 706-495-4903 (anytime after 8:00 p.m. E.S.T.) if you want some free advice.

Out of state title transfer?? I assume bank lien means bank holds your vehicle title. If Chrysler Financial, or any other for that matter, have purchaser provide 2 certified checks. One to lienholder for payoff and one to you for balance, if any. Title will take 2-3 weeks to be sent from lienholder. At that time, you will need to sign and mail to new owner. Check laws for state new owner plans to register in. Many states may require notorized bill of sale to accompany transaction. New owner will also need to transport vehicle home. Will he drive it or trailer it? If driven, what tags will he use?? Yours? Be careful. Maybe I've been too cautious but own a vehicle title service and see all kinds of crazy stuff on a regular basis. Email me and I'll send you some more goodies.
