Tire scraping the hood....

Went over a little whoop-di-do in the road and heard a "scrreeeech". Have the stock 18"ers. Checked out the tires when I got home. Spotted a rubbing patch on both front tires at the wheel well corner of the hood right above the side sills. Anyone else have this? Could it be that my caster is set too far back or is this normal?

I have not had any tire rubbing on my 99 GTS in 12,000 milews, that is, except for when I tried to push the car forward in the garage with the hood up and discovered that the bottom of the wheel well hit the tire....
