If this is the last run forever of the GTS, should I buy another and put it in storage? I own a 2001 and would hope a 2004 is on the table. The latest Viper quarterly said that in the last 10 years only 13,000 and a couple Vipers have been built. Is that enough to keep Dodge building and will the only Viper be a convert. opinions please, will dodge built any GTS past the current "last run". Should I buy and store or wait and hope. If the GTS has seen its run the price will climb and to buy from a 2nd party will equate to big bucks?????????

I would say if you really want one put your order in. I have heard that the last one will be raffled off ( unsubstantiated info) and your chances of winning it will be much lower than your chances of ordering one. If they never build another GTS, then you have scored. Even if they do you will still own the last of a classic.
Just my thoughts, and the reason I ordered one.

P.S. I will still buy a raffle ticket(s) for the last one if it is indeed raffled.

I'm on the fence as well, but I think my friends (using the term friends today) convinced me to wait a year and see how the SRT turns out. I wouldn't expect that used 2001 or 2002 GTS prices would climb substantially in a year. Actually, I'll bet they drop a bit (realizing the depreciation) before their value starts climbing, if it does.

The question becommes do you want one of the last GTS's brand new, as this is your last chance. If you can comfortable afford it, then I would buy one and take the chance.

If i could afford one I would have one!!
But I could not leave it sit. Even though I know that you probably should.
I would mod the exterior with GT2 parts, splitter, wing,
carnards.
Mod interior with 5 pts.
Mod engine of course, minor mods, so it could be put back stock
if desired but modded. Like exhaust smooth tubes, hood pad, etc.

If ya can go for it!!!
