i been thinking long and hard and still dont know what to do. i have a 96 rt10 which i love but i have 30,000 miles on her. i drive this car everyday well sunny day. i just cant decide if i want to keep her or upgrade to a 99 i love the fact of being one of the only white vipers around but windows and airbags are a plus any ideas or any imput would be great jon
to keep or sell ??

Why not keep it AND upgrade to 99? You can always sell it later.

That decision will come from within you, think hard what you REALLY like to do, get a newer with low miles which you will learn all over again OR stay with the one of the rare ones.
If I were you, I would look into all aspects, my desires, my finances and if I want to get excited all over again by a new car. If I were you, I would get a 99 based on the facts that you have mentioned.

Jon, as a fellow owner of a 96 RT/10, white with blue stripes, one of the unexpected things I really like
about the car is how I have never seen one like mine on the road...Also, the body colour wheels are
somewhat distinct...
I guess its a personal decision, at times I have wished I had side roll up windows, I wonder if anyone has
made an aftermarket kit for this? Maybe there is a market for this?

I would go with the '99. If you do go with a '99, get a black RT. YUM!

From your mileage, it appears you drive your viper quite a bit. Power windows and the unpgraded interior are nice. With the exception of the 98 GT2, 96 is the only year for white. I would have to agree with Chuck and keep it and buy the 99. Since the white is pretty rare, you should always be able to get top dollar.
I had looked at a black 96, I didn't particularly care for having to "put" my windows in. That is why I stretched and bought an 02.
I would have to look at the "value" of having a newer one. How much is upgrading going to cost me? Annually? Monthly? Daily?
