Last night my wife and I returned to my Viper on a restaurant parking lot and, to my chagrin, noted it was covered with finger prints....windows, fenders, doors, top, etc.
I have a window sign produced by Year One which requests that lookers refrain from touching the car, but I seldom use it because it's clearly an advertisement and is directed towards restored vehicles. I'm sure you've all seen them.
My question: Why doesn't VCA produce some quality window signs, with logos, which politely request that admirers look, but not touch the car(s).
We all enjoy having our cars admired, that's a given, but it's distressing to see a highly waxed finish covered with finger prints.
That's why individuals wear cotton gloves when examining classic works of art. Is a Viper any different??
Maybe as an alternative, we could provide a supply of linen gloves for those who feel compelled to touch!!!!
