I am 6'5" tall and have an R/T 10 and a Coupe both with the 2" lowering kit and fit fine in both.

I'm 6'5/6'6... Only driven a Viper once, and I must say that it was a tad of a tight squeeze. Didn't know a seat lowering kit existed... when I get mine someday I'll have to look into that.

Also I found it much easier to drive with shoes off... pedals seemed a bit close together for my size 13's, hee hee.

6'5"+, I have the 2" lowering kit and what difference it makes. I can even wear a helmet at the track w/o tilting my head to the center of the car now!
Also, I had a C5 for a few years and I fit very comfortable in it. With the 2" kit and pedals all the way down, it is almost the same in my GTS.

If you've driven a 911 with a sun roof you know what its like to drive with a helmet on. Its kind of spooky to have your head wedged against the ceiling. I found the Viper to be roomier than the 911. So if you can fit in a 911, you can fit in a Viper.

Northwind. I believe they are the only ones who make a kit. I actually planned on getting a race seats also, so that I could gain more room getting rid of the stock seat as it's backrest is so thick, but I don't need it!

We have installed probably at least 20 kits in the last year and a half, and the tallest driver we have is 6'9". A 2 inch drop should work fine for your 6'6" friend and you are kind of on the borderline whether you would need one --- if so a 1 inch would be fine. Northwind is the place to go, and we usually have some kits in stock if we can assist. Work hard, he will love having a Snake!

JonB, do you sell the seat lowering racks?

I am interested in the 1" model. I would like both the driver and passenger seat to be lowered.

If so, what's the pricing look like?
