Peter, you can call George on his cell phone @516-658-1440. Tell him Paolo Castellano gave you the #'s I am the one who convinced him to do this to the Viper transmission as I have wanted it for better top end speed capabilities. He has the transmissions ready to go; I have had one of Georges transmissions in my car for 12,000 miles with no problems whatsoever. The stock transmissions never lasted me that long. Paolo

GREAT TIMING!

We just finished testing a transmission with revised 5th and 6th gears. We are now offering them as a complete unit, ready to install!!!

The results are amazing. 6th gear can now be used on the street and pulls !! 5th gear is now very 'perky' too and pulls hard even from 2000 rpms. The torque multiplier for the new gears makes quite a difference.

I think it's a must for anyone making power and wants the benefit of closer ratios and top end acceleration and top speed without having to add gears and deal with massive wheelspin in 1st and 2nd.

Hey Jay, George is the Guy at Rockland Standard Gear that is handling the conversions. I just find it easier to reach George on his cell phone. I remember telling you about this .80 5th, .62 6th conversion over a year ago. Mike Weinberg is the main man there but is harder to reach.

It's funny how you, Wayne and myself are all talking about the only ones who can do this conversion!

Just in case all of you were wondering just how much more of a PUNCH a Viper with one of these trannys has....here is an idea:

5th gear is now liking driving around with a 3.31 rear end ratio and 6th gear is comparable to driving around with a 3.85 rear end ratio.

Pulling in 6th.....YOU BET! 5th and 6th are now accelerating gears!!
