Well, it had to happen. She's been plotting to get me back after I scared her in my RT, and today it happened. I'm rolling up to a light on Woodside road in my X5 4.6, and as I come to a stop I see a red convertible pull up on my left. I look over, and it's Liz in her Viper SRT. She looks over at me and revs the engine . When the light turns green I punch it and get a slight jump on her (experience counts), but then she gets it off the line and hits the gas and is GONE. She must have had 4 carlengths on me by 60 mph, and the X5 is a high-14 sec machine. I now understand why people are sometimes leery of racing Vipers -- that thing is fast!

Anyway, now I need to get that E55 and try my luck again. [******] women drivers and their fast cars...

I assume this is a rhetorical question? Of -course- I already swapped filters and removed the rain baffle!

That must be why she beat me ...
