Kenny...I think I know a place that has some killer prices on some slightly used "Club Slicks".
They were only used for a few run sessions, and only a little bit of cord is showing.

Now that you have some real brakes under you, you may need to step up to the plate and get some new shoes.

I understand Paul "The Godfather" Schley is gunning for you, and you will need all the traction you can get.

Hawker,
I too have some used club slicks. No cords though and will give them to anyone going to Viper Days. You know, "shoe goo" put over the cords actually extended the life for another two heat cycles, and "fix a flat" enhanced the side wall rigidity. That was worth a whole second.

The Godfather is getting very fast, no doubt. I beat him already on my cord showing, sparkler, don't run these in brush areas Goodyear's. Not a good tire for Tom Glenn at Thunderhill.

Oh Yeah, Ken, when are you going to step up and run Thunderhill like it should be run. Thru the shooting range!

I am trying to make a race at Willow Springs, the first weekend in January. Anyone know of some used Hoosiers for me? I need 305/18 for the front and 335/17 for the rear. Don't make me go to the trash pile.

WAR BUDGET RACERS!!!!

Well Tom, through the shooting range... That is not the best short cut. I much prefer to look at the guages as I enter turn 4. Ended up going staight off into the plowed fields, but leads you right for the front straight. I figure you could reach a lap time under one minute, smokin! You know, in retrospect the Viper doesn't do all the bad off road, just a little bouncy. Maybe for Rally-cross we need a different suspension set up.

TIRES ANYONE???? ANYONE? Beuler????

Where have I heard this before? Oh yeah! I remember now...

Lil' Kenny, tire dump digger...

Time to look for a new job now Kenny. Workin' at Mickey D's will only buy your gas and one new tire a year. Free Big Macs and fries isn't the same as a 401k.

Wow, you know me too well. I have moved on. I am now assitant to the assistant manager at an IN and OUT Burger in Barstow, CA. Its a bit of a drive for me, but I am up to almost $9 an hour. Soon they say I'll be head of the potato wedge machine. Still trying to figure out the secret sauce. I will copy that and sell it for more race cash! That is the master plan. Until then, when the tires are down to the cords, slap on the shoe goo. One coat is good for at least two heat cycles. Really cuts down on the tire marks left on the rocker panels.

I traded my stock options for a life supply of those individual ketchup packets. It was commission free and I was able to avoid the capital gain tax. Sweat deal! Also great to throw at Mumford's tires when I pass him. More anti-Mumford doo dads on the way.
