VCA MN October Event Calendar
Saturday October 9, 2010 – Fall in the Valley Cruise
Meet at the Canterbury Inn (NW corner of US Hwy 169 & Canterbury Rd.) in Shakopee, MN between 10:00 & 10:30 a.m. for the short trip to LeSueur, MN and the Fall in the Valley Cruise. The cruise begins at Noon so plan to enjoy the fall colors of the MN River Valley while you take your ride out for what will be one of your last opportunities to play with other Snakes before the long winter.
Music, food, games, and a Fall Bazaar are planned for the whole family to enjoy in historic downtown LeSueur.
VCA MN members participated in this cruise last year and to on one's surprise we had a great time. Hopefully the weather will be a bit more cooperative this year than last. See you there!!!
Sunday October 17, 2010 – VCA MN Fall Color Cruise
Join fellow members for the final event of the 2010 driving season. We will follow the Mississippi River south along US Hwy 61 to Wabasha, MN before taking a lunch break. Following lunch we will cross the river and begin our trek back north on WI Hwy 35. This is always a very scenic and enjoyable drive, but the fall colors make it all the more spectacular. And with any luck we will be treated to large numbers of Bald Eagles along the way as they begin their migration south following the river as well.
Meet at Lakeville McDonalds (SE corner of I-35 & County Road 70) between 9:00 & 9:30 a.m. We'll cruise some back roads east to Hwy 61 before turning south for our cruise along the river.
Don’t miss this one as it is a long wait for April and the beginning of the ’11 driving season.
