I received mine yesterday.

While the article is favorable overall, the 0-60 time is 4.42 seconds! If you read the article you find out why. They complain that the car really only needs 5 gears instead of 6 and that if it only had 5 gears they would not have to have shifted to second to make 60 MPH. From what I have read, the SRT is designed to make it to 60 in first gear!

They also compliment the brakes (60-0 in 109 feet) by say the Z06 did 105 feet. This is opposite to what every other magazine says.

It never ceases to amaze me how different these numbers are for different mags.

Different driving abilities. You can't expect 4.1 sec for 0-60 times for every mag (just threw out a number). That's like saying all mags and owners should get a 11.8 in the 1320 from a bone stock Viper.

I think that Autoweek is more of a regular real world, not performance, magazine. They do have great articles and comparisons.

Sorry I missed the part of the mag date before.

Since the braking numbers were longer than the other road tests have shown, and all the guy does is mash the pedal on an ABS car, that the track was just slick That would also really impact the accel times.

(just try getting 0-60 under 5 seconds on those slick Vegas Streets)
