Dear Viper Club Member,
On Saturday June 19, 2004, Member and *** Doug Levin has arranged a Dyno Day at Cartek Tuning. A dyno or dynamometer is an instrument used to measure rear wheel horsepower, and it is done by strapping a car down where the rear wheels drive a large drum and thus, under full throttle, rear wheel horsepower is recorded. For more detailed information on dynos, please visit www. dynojet.com/auto.shtml.
This is a Viper Club event, however, if you have some other modified cars, or cars that you’re curious about really how much horsepower they’re making, you’re welcome to bring it out and Dyno it.
Besides finding out how much horsepower your Viper is making, we’re going to give out some trophies for the Vipers making the most horsepower in each class. So come on down and join us for a fun filled day!
When: Saturday, June 19, 2004
Where: Cartek Tuning, 2021 SW 70 Ave, Suite B21-22, Davie 954-474-5366
Take I-95 to 595, go west. Exit Davie Blvd and go south to Nova. Go west on Nova to SW 70 Ave and turn right. Go down and look left.
Time: 9:00am
Cost: $40.00 per car.

VOI 8 is coming up. If you haven’t registered, you need to. This event is co-sponsored by Dodge, and if you ask anyone who’s attended one, you will have an incredible time. You can go to www.voi8.com for more info. Space is still available.
Lastly, congratulations to Mark Butters for winning our Speed Indoor Karting event last month. He not only posted the fastest lap time, he also won our 40 lap race. This was a great event so expect to see it again soon!
Take care and see you all very soon.
