Now that I have the K&N, Smoothtube, header/cat/Corsa mods done the car seems use a lot more gas. I am not causing this by acceleratus excessus. I just wonder if the extra air flow is causing the computer to inject more fuel at low cruising rpms than I need. Would a VEC 1 help? Do I even have an issue? I do know that my mileage has dropped by 25%.

Greg,maybe your wing/splitter(drag/downforce)is the problem.Headers,under normal driving increase your gas milage.VEC1 will help gas mileage(under full throttle) also by leaning out the factory rich top end setting.

TacDoc - I have the exact engine mods that you have plus the VEC1 as my latest addition. (I got the Random Tech Ultra High Flow Cats for engines 525 HP and up for my coming soon Roe Supercharger.) My gas mileage is 14-16 MPG around town and that's with me trying to get less mileage! I have about 3800 miles on my Viper. When I drive normally I get 15-17 MPG around town and 22-25 MPG highway.
