Vehicle history

Where can I obtain an accurate history of my car ?
It is obvious that the engine cooling fan has been converted
to the single fan "99" upgrade, yet the dealer is only able to
tell me that my car has not been into a Chrysler garage for
more than 24 months.I did the math.....is there a way to obtain a complete history ? I would like to know about any work or upgrades that my car has been through.
The previous owner is "unavailable" for comment.

Robert,

The 99 fan module upgrade can easily be purchased and installed by oneself. With this in mind, these types of upgrades my truly only be known by the prior owner(s). Carfax will give info related to the title. Dealer inquiry, as you have found, will give previous 24 month WARRANTY work. Maybe someone else knows of another way to identify upgrades, but this could prove very tough to get a documented history since the previous owner is "unavailable". Good luck

I agree with the others. I used Carfax to run a quick check on my vehicle's history. It's an inexpensive way to get some peace of mind.
