Thanks you guys.

I also noticed the rubber around the metal vent on top of the hood has slipped down in a few places and no longer will keep out every spec of dirt.

Anyone else have this?

I'm a proud member of same lost hood nut club!!

I thought of using a "Doughnut" shaped clipboard magnet and some string to fish it out. I guess that would be easier than taking off the hood and shaking it out!

Nuts down in the hood--nah, I've got you guys beat. I was looking down through the runners on my intake manifold and there appears to be some sort of paper or tag about 3" x 4" lying nestled down in there with writing on it! Must be a lot cooler on top of the intake manifold than it is everywhere else in the engine compartment! I was wondering if it was the lunch order of the guys on the assembly line.

I believe it is common for the rubber gasket on the metal grills to come from the factory not seated right. I fixed mine this spring, and yes, I belong to the 'lost screw in the hood' club as well. The passenger speaker is for 'domestic' air.
