vibration/rattle from parking brake handle

Has anyone else had this happen? While driving, the button on the parking brake will start to rattle. All I have to do is just push the button and it stops but it will just happen again. Is this a popular problem? I have owned two gen one's and two gen 2's and never heard this before now. (This is on my gen3 '03). I have been very pleased with this car and this is the only "problem" I have had.

I had that in my Gen-2 all the time! A little piece of paper, cardboard helps...

Really? I've done the "stick something in there" fix, but I would like it to be right.

Second question, how do I remove the parking brake grip?
