First car slides off keeps the go pedal down instead of both feet in. Loses it big time. Car 2 white moves over and pinches off car 3 and takes both of them out. Its a CLUB event in expensive cars. For real racing just buy out someone that is packing it in in some class and go racing for real. Spend a lot less money and have a better time with more competitors. Yep it still costs money but a lot less money. Then again if you have more money than brains buy an expensive car to drive ,wear out and eventualy wreck.

Professional racer and part of the VCA Bruce. Maybe I read it wrong, but having met David personally; he is not one of those more money than brains people. Actually a very humble guy (as the above vimeo kind of shows).

Original thread here folks.

**** happens. No need to slam this VCA professional....who cares how much money he has? I'm sure he earned it and I have enjoyed reading his posts. As he stated, it is a real tribute to the engineering guys at SRT to go through an horrific crash like this and walk away.:2tu:

I think the point of the thread was to show the accident to all and to show how well the SRT engineers make the vehicle.

Good old USA engineering. Can't beat it.

Track guys know its basic that you put both feet in, and Dave knows this as well as anyone. He would have prob just spun out in the grass if he followed this rule...we've all done it. He is not a Pro racer, but an amateur like the majority in Viper Cup--it is club racing like other Challenge series. Dave admitted he was overly aggressive trying to muscle the car back on the track and he made a mistake. That mistake happens in both Pro and Amateur racing.
