Kimberly-Clark makes the best car cover fabric in the USA. The cover you should use for garage parking is called "Dustop" and is four layers thick, soft as flannel, and lighter than cloth. California car cover is a great place to buy yours. I suggest you call 1-800-848-4848, which is Kimberly-Clark's cover information toll free number. You can also get all the facts by visiting http://www.block-it.com There are other fabrics made by K-C and each has its own application. Bobby

California Car Cover. Have one and very happy with it.

Soft, durable, protects the car without scratching the paint.

Kevin,

I have a GTS Mopar grey with the red Viper logo and the bag that has only been used twice in my garage to keep the cat off of it too. The problem is my car has one to many mods Kingman Hitz Wing, Hennessey Front Splitter and Fascia it does not fit anymore. Make me a decent offer and it is yours.

I keep my car at the office this is how a settled the problem with the cat. It was either me or him so the Viper had to go to the office. It is actually safer there and I get to show it off more there as well....

Let me know!

I have the Kimberly 4 layer cover sold by Big Sky. Great fit, pretty decent price, BUTT, on both of my cars (same cover)I end
up with a residue that cannot be removed with-out a thorough
washing. It may be the salt or the humidity in the air, but I
won't cover either car until they need a wash anyway. Yes, I
have tried washing the covers, but they don't seem as impervious
to weather as advertised. Definitely cat proof though.
HOWEVER ! I was at a local car show/swap meet and saw a product
that is an inflatable, drive into bodybag, completely dust and humidity proof (in fact it acts as a dehumidifier, you need to leave your windows rolled down). No bugs, no dust, no mildew) and $1.50 a month to run.
The "bag" acts as more than a cover. My 185#'s can lean on
the cover without coming near the body.
Clear plastic, you can show or look at the car in your garage without uncovering it.
Contact me for more info.

I got my car cover from Big Sky as well - great product and price, and no sales tax when ordering from CA.

The residue is actually something like a fine silicone dust and will go away with continued use. If it bugs you, just carry a California Duster around for a quick once over when you remove the cover. I would never recommend using any cover on a dirty/dusty car, since the dirt particles are likely to scratch the paint while the cover is being put on the car.

I'm with Bob. I have the blue one also. I hear it is discontinued and impossible to get. I think I'll have to cut a slit in it now that I'm having the Hennessy wing installed as I speak.....mmmmm.

I said it once and I'll say it again. The Car Capsule is the BEST cover! Nothing like having your car in a bubble where you can see it. You don't have to worry about wings and splitters either. Then all your friends can pick on you and call you Bubbleboy. Ok, maybe that last part isn't a feature...

COSTCO sells the brown Kimberly Clark generic cover for $50.

The Dodge one is very nice for a custom fit.

I have both. The $50 one is a heck of a bargain if you don't mind the sloppy fit.
