The Viper Days European Vacation 2003 is happy to announce that the question about ownership and transportation to Europe has been unraveled.
"I have had a reply from the Insurance company concerning the Viper cars on finance. They have confirmed that this fact does not pose a problem for the insurers, they have stated that in the event of a claim, any claim settlements for the damaged vehicles would take into account the amount of finance outstanding on the vehicles at the time of the accident. The fact that there are current finance agreements in force for the individual vehicles would not invalidate the Marine Transit policy."

With this out of the way we are hopeful that more people will look into this fantastic trip. Visit www.VDEV2003.com for all the details.

We forgot to mention that Linda and I will be escorting this trip and look forward to showing everyone a good time!

I wonder what problems there would be with the Temporary Export if the car is totaled or stolen?

Obviously you would not be bringing back what you took out.

Skip, my question was if the shipper would take the car that does not have the title. I shipped 2 cars to Europe and the original title was needed. Also the bank that owns that car might not let it go since they own it. So the insurance answer you got I could have given to you. It is possible to insure anything but check with the shipping company and ask what documents would they need. If they say title than 100% leased and cars with a bank lean can't go becuse US customs will not let them out of US.
