Viper Days, Watkins Glen (long)

I don't even know where to begin to describe my first Viper Days event. The whole experience was fantastic.

Due to financial contributions made, my wife and I decided that I would come down just to spectate. And man am I happy that I did. I learned so much from talking to everyone.

Courtney and Skip, thanks for taking the time to talk to me about the event, and letting a cheapskate like myself hang out all day. Was very nice. And thanks for putting on such a awesome event!!!

Janni and Henry, it was really nice to meet the two of you. Hope to see you at the next event!

Jeff, Rhonda, and the rest of the Archer team, it was a pleasure. Learned a lot from talking to you, and I wish the team the best. btw, I want your transporter

George B, thanks for the ride along. Some of those turns are incredible. btw, the shifter kit rocks!

Sam and crew. You guys are absolutely incredible. These guys had no idea who I was, but they took hours of their time talking to me, answering questions, and loaning me tools. I can't begin to say enough kind words about them. I'll send you copies of my pictures from the circle once I touch them up. Give me a call or drop me an email about that exhaust system.

Chris, once again you were incredible to spend time with. I'd love to come watch your team race this weekend, but I have too much to do. Good luck to the Snake Pit Racing team. btw, next time maybe a bit more duct tape

Jeff, glad to see you got out there again. D*mn those fraying belts!

I know I'm forgetting tons of folks, it always happens, but don't take it personal. I didn't meet a single bad person there. I think that's one of the best things about owning a Viper, the people. Everybody there was absolutely great.

Thanks for the good times, I look forward to the next one.

Hopefully, next time I will be in the pack on the track, and not watching at the sidelines!!!

Sean, I think this is you? You are more than welcome, if I have it you are more than welcome to share it.... It is our goal at each Viper Days event to make some new friends visit with some old ones(Sonny, Ted, Bernie, Janni, Henry, Tom, Randy, Jim, Jeff, Rhonda, Russell, John, Skip, Courtney, Penny, Traci, Bruce, Tammi,.....) show and share stories about the car, look good and driver faster and faster each time we hit the track. Forgot one, bring the car home with no scratches, melted rubber and bugs are ok they will wash off.

I just wish I could have given you a ride it was on mind but we just ran out of time. I think everyone (Mark, Ryan, Larry, Gary, Randy, Tammi and Chris Berone) rode with me but you. Tammi and Chris thanks for the great driving instruction. Next time Sean you are on top of my list. I would much rather share the experience with someone else even if it cost me a second or two...fortunately for me I have ran my fastest times with someone in the passenger seat.

My friend I will leave the exhausts to an expert. Bottom line get the standard ones off and put some on the car that will make it sound as good as it looks, ASAP.

I look forward to the pictures. You can never have enough pictures of The Glen. I will never forget what it feels like and looks like(blue armco everywhere) to go through the S's at full throttle in 4 the gear!!!!!! What a ride.
