To all our Viper friends, sadly, at least for now, I think I am going to have to drop from the ranks of Viper owners for $$ reasons.

I promise to return as an owner (and not sell the car unless absolutely necessary). I'm hoping the 54 vette and boat will go first.

I think this is the part where they start the Kenny Rodgers song about "know when to hold 'em and know when to fold 'em"

I have bought a little time by selling the 54 vette this morning. Thanks are due to the Cone's for storing it and accomodating the "lookers" and the eventual buyer at their home.

Bill Pemberton emailed some great advice and I am holding out on the Viper Sale as long as possible (hoping that "long as possible" might turn into forever).

SEASNAKE, your situation actually crossed my mind. I'm not likely to be driving the car until her fate is known. I'm not superstitious, but it seems like there are LOTS of demons working themselves out of our cars recently. BTW, your stripes were so great are you going to do the same on your next car?

I'll probably keep it without stripes for a while, that way the car will gain at least 10 mph top end when I put the stripes on. You can bet one of my first stops with the car will be the paint shop to choose the best color stripes for sapphire blue.
