Viper logos

Does anyone know of any easy way to properly align after market logos. I just got the Viper trim logos and each and every one of the letters is separate. I thought of tracing the existing logos with something like a pencil then remove and reinstall over the traced area. But I would hate to write ( pencil ) on the paint.

Also whats the easiest way to remove the stock logos.

Hair dryer should warm up the glue ready for removal, then just peal them off.
Eucalyptus oil will get rid of any residue.
Use a wax pencil to mark a base line and spacing, this should get them straight and looking good.
Eucalyptus oil again to clean up job, and you are done.
Owners workshop manual shows correct dimensions for placement. If you don't have a manual, buy one. It's the best $40 you will ever spend on the car.

Tape a striaght line under the existing letters, and mark each edge of the bottoms of each letter. Then remove the old letters one at a time while replacing with the new ones, one at a time.

Although you've probably already replaced the letters, this might help someone else.

Use a hair dryer to soften the glue and then use dental floss to remove the old letters. To keep the new letters aligned and to install them all at the same time you might try putting masking tape or duct tape across the front and then peel the paper off the back and apply it as one big logo.

The dental floss is an established procedure. The masking/duct tape is just an idea.

You know they don't apply the letters individually as the car goes down the assembly line. Was there some sort of protective paper on the face of the letters that you already removed?

Thanks for all your help guys.
It was easier then I thought.
I removed the stock letters with a heat gun at low temp. They came off like butter and then I replaced the new ones with masking tape as a guide.

Word to the wise..............start on the Logo's in the back to get the hang of it and then proceed to the sides.
