So, when I got my car, the original owner told me my car was featured in Viper Magazine a little while after he bought it (2003). I believe he said there was a pic of it with a AC Cobra in Yellow/black as well.

So for all of you VM vets out there that still have their old issues of VM, what issue do I need to buy to find my car in it??:D

My guess is it would be in a 2004-2006 issue as I got the car in 2007. The owners name was Dave if that helps.

Thanks for looking in the old issues for me!!:hail:

Hey Mopar boy...Spring 2004 issue page 52. Stock looking acr with an ac cobra with the same paint scheme. Yellow/black stripes. I'd at least scan the page but my printer/scanner is a pain in the butt right now :(

Article reads... Like most northern residents, Dave of mi. has a tough time making it throgh the winter, awaiting the opportunity to hit the open road. It's doubly tough beacuse he has some seriuos choices to make. "On one hand, I have my 2002 GTS ACR which is still wrapped in plastic and has zero miles on it, he explained.

Oh the other hand. I also have a SHelby continuation cobra CSX-4013 woth a 620 h.p. , 514 stroker. I can't wait for spring, but it's still going to be a tough choice."

Score!

I was just looking back through my VM's recently (mostly for the tech notes section) and started to see many names I recognize now after hanging around the forums. Jon you had many good articles in there :2tu:

M-Boy, glad you got your mags..... YUP..a bone-stock photo of your car.

Stretch, THANKS for noticing! In the old-days, there was NO website with photos galore, and BELIEVE ME, the Viper Quarterly was our passion, and drug-fix satisfaction. It could NOT come soon enuf. Thats when VCA decided to pay extra to get it coming faster, vs bulk-rate.

I wrote a bunch of stuff, just as ANYONE CAN DO NOW! ViperMag will need your submissions more than ever. DONT BE BASHFUL about sending in an article, photo, or anecdote. ViperMag staff will edit out any boo-boos and make it flow just fine.

With the big changes/downsizing in the Auto Industry, Auto publishing, too, VCA Members are very fortunate to be able to brand Viper Magazine as our own, simpy by purchasing subscriptions from your dues. SOB (Some Other Brand) clubs pay BIG bucks to have a color magazine..... we just buy subscriptions!

Jon, I may be new to ownership but I share your thoughts on the Viper Magazine. I first ordered my subscription back in 2000 when I was in high school. "Viper Magazine Day" was always an exciting day and the 3 month wait in between issues seemed like an eternity. I had wanted to submit something after I finally bought one and it was actually Robert (Mopar-Boy) who encouraged me to actually do it. He told me about his article and I remembered reading it thinking that is awesome, he's my age and bought his dream car. So, I put together a quick story and a couple pictures and hopefully it will be in one of the issues coming out in 09. :2tu:
