Fellow members, Scott Sorrentino (viper tech) and Tom Nolfi (Sve mgr. for viper issues) notified me today that they will be getting in all the repair kits for the Recalls # 998 and 999 and expect to be able to start the repair process within 1-2 weeks. I now both of these guys well and I can highly recommend them to all our club members in the Northern New Jersey areas. Scott has described to me in detail how he expects to first examine and then perform all necessary repairs. Both men have indicated that they will priortize all VCA members who make an appointment for the exam. If cracks are found they will implement a repair protocol that sounds very thorough and precise. Where needed any welding will be done by their body/frame specialists in addition to Scotts own mechanical work (he has service my car since delivery and simply is excellent) I would reccommend that all affected club members also read Janni's excellent post below which explains a list of very valid concerns to address when deciding who will perform your service.
