I've seen some of you talk about your local Viper tech.
Is this just the guy that works on your Viper or is this some special schooling the tech takes in order to be specialy qualified to work on Vipers?
If so, what should I be asking my local Dodge dealer that is selling these cars.
Does any Dodge dealer that sell Vipers have to have a Viper tech on staff?
Just wondering if some of you could clear this up for me?
I know in my business (Agricultural and Construction equip.) we have to have some one educated on the products we sell and service.

My understanding is that the dealership which sell Vipers must have a qualified Viper Tech on their staff. Keep in mind that this does not always mean that this is the best person to work on your Viper. Check in your area and I'm sure that you'll find the preferred Viper Tech.

Also, the Viper Tech's are required to be specially certified and keep their certification updated!! Hope this helps.

Bigfoot- What Kurt said. Call your Dodge Dealer. Ask the service department if they have a certified Viper tech. If the service manager says "hold on I'll ask". Don't go there. Kinda kidding but that happened to me (more than once), and I live in the USA. I am sure there are fewer tech's in Canada. The Canadian chapter will be able to help you with this. I spent a few days with them in Nashville last month. Not good guys, great people / drive way to fast. I miss 'em already.
