What are the dates for this year's SEMA?

Not to many Vipers...More PT Cruisers, SUV's, and Civics.

Hi guys. Since 1997 I've traditionally tried to organize a VCA owners party on the Wednesday night of SEMA week. That was always the preferred evening because it generally overlaps the people who come EARLY during the week and have to leave early, and those who come in late and stay through Friday.

The last two years I've enlisted the help of the Nevada Region President and Las Vegas resident, Jerry Muench, to pick a place and set things up. Unfortunately, Jerry's not a computer guy, without e-mail, so I've already sent him a note about THIS year, and we'll probably talk by phone soon.

However, if anyone else wants to jump in and get the ball rolling, your help would be very much appreciated. I would LOVE for someone else to grab this by the horns and get it set up. I'm sure Jerry would feel the same. We always need "new blood" willing to step up and take charge of planning events and activities. Jump in, and we'll deliver our annual North Texas region entourage to the party, wherever that may be. As far as I'm concerned, whoever sets it up FIRST, is where we're all going to go! If someone DOES, make sure you post all the info in the "Events" forum for the rest of us. Thanks.

What type of parties and events, dare I ask, have you set up in the past for the Viper/VCA attendees?

Bill/APEX Motorsports and I are staying at the Hard Rock. I can call my host and see if he and I can put something together. I just don't know what you had in mind.

Any suggestions???

Viper Days will be at the SEMA show. We are leaving early because Viper Days has the Finals at Hallett Motor Speedway Nov 2-4. We would love to see VCA members at a party! Wish I could help Wing King but I already have to much on my plate at that time.

When I say "party", I mean food and beverage at some kind of reasonably "happening" place. Wayne, the Hard Rock would be great if you can pull that off. I've found it very hard in Las Vegas to get the hotel bars or bistros like that to "reserve" sections for us. In the past we've met as such places as "The Beach", or the Brew Pub in the Monte Carlo. It would be nice to at least be able to talk..... and hear ourselves.

Oh yea, ummm.... "beverage" means fermented liquid!

If you plan it, we will come! OR, if you don't then WE will plan it and you can come!

..... and Courtney, you don't HAVE to do any work to help.... just show up! If you'll wear another nice dress, and look as hot and beautiful as you did at The Beach a couple years ago, that alone will insure that we'll fill the place, wherever it may be.

Come on Skip, you slave driver, join us on Wednesday night too!
