had a great entertaining day at Rockingham, the only circuit in the UK with some nascar style banking within the track, plenty of sunshine with open pits we even gate crashed the team talk from the drivers to the sponsors in the Brookspeed pits :)

the number 6 TeamRPM CC needed to finish infront of the Aston Martin after the one hour race to win the championship overall ! it seems RPM won saturdays race which put them just 2 points behind the AM team

for the first part of todays race number 6 was in fifth place behind the other RPM number 7 car, the AM infront was chasing 2 ferrari's, unfortunately for the AM team ;) their leading car went off circuit at the hairpin after the driver change (braking to late, under pressure i guess) the RPM number 6 and 7 CC went by along with a couple of other cars, while the AM was driving rally style in the grass to get back on track, their race was over...

the RPM driver did the business and worked the CC up the field into first place ! to not only win the race but taking the championship title  on their first attempt with the CC's. The number 7 car followed crossing the line in 2nd place, so a great day for them, It was great to see the guys get the trophy then see the usual champagne going every where

Hey Neil--thanx for posting those pictures, WHAT is the Apollo? I'm not sure of the emblem on the front..can't see it clearly enough. It's a beaut...but the main story being the VIPER Comp Coupe winning the race over the Aston Martins--priceless!! You must've had a great time watching all this enfold! ~juli

Great pics and the Audi front end looks funky IMO. Needs something.

Fantastic news, and this definitely deserves a write up for the Viper Club magazine. It would be great to get a synopsis of the year's races, placings, and info on the drivers and the team ( along with the other Viper competitors ).

Very much appreciated and as one with plenty of English heritage in his bones, " Bloody Good Show, Lads!!"

Nice pics, thanks! You must've been in heaven being around those beautiful cars all day. That white/blue stripes comp coupe looks awesome. I wish I owned one!
